Living and hustling in such a competitive world where people constantly outperform you, it’s quite challenging to keep yourself motivated and encouraged. Of course, there are a gazillion solutions – books, inspirational movies, meditation, etc. However, over the years, PODCASTS have come a long way, achieving their purpose to deliver information, perspective, and motivation to humans anywhere and anytime.
But, it’s a very old saying – “Talking to a man in the language he understands will reach his mind. But talking to a man in his language will reach his heart.” Here’s great news for all the Gujarati people, an assistant filmmaker, who has contributed his work in two movies – “Jai Shree Krishna” and “Satam Aatham” and one web series named “Sides” and also a brilliant communicator, Mr. Sandip Sharma has come up with a Gujarati Podcast, named “Sandip Chat Show” for all those learners and admirers of the Gujarati entertainment industry.
Here’s what Sandip has to say about his podcast, himself – ” An idle mind is a devil’s workshop. I realized my creative thoughts were getting rotten and frozen with each passing day during the pandemic, and I was constantly looking for some inspiration and distraction, to be honest, to help me move forward, and I thought I can do something that can help not just me but other people facing the same issue. In this time where everything is virtual, I think what we humans crave is a true connection with another compassionate human. To enforce such connections through candid conversations with simple yet interesting people, I started this podcast. I hope this helps people in some way in this difficult time. “
It’s a great initiative to bring people together, especially from the Gujarat film industry, as this is the first-ever Gujarati Podcast we all would be enjoying. Till now, 4 episodes have been recorded and all available on Spotify and Google Podcast.
All the guests also have sent their reviews after participating and having an unfiltered conversation with the host.
Parikshit Tamaliya: An actor who has worked in three movies, “Saheb”, “Duniyadari” and “Saatam Aatham”. He said – “I think it was a very candid yet fun chat, I enjoyed every bit of it. Talking about my journey, I am not sure if I can inspire anyone, but even if it’s just one person, I’ll be more than happy. Kudos to Sandip for this wonderful initiative in such tough times.”
Denisha Ghumra: National award winner, Acted in – Hellaro, Neverland, Bharat Maro Desh, Saatam Aatham. She quoted – ” Sandip is a dear friend, he is naive, raw and is curious about things and journeys of people around him. The chat show podcast that he has started is a very good thing in times that are so dark. He had his questions prepared and did his homework before the show which makes the questions interesting and to the point. I loved sharing my journey. Hope you guys love hearing it too. “
Ankit Sakhiya: Director of the web series “Pehla Gulzar”. His reviews were – “This is actually a good initiative to give the insights of the film industry to the young aspirants, who want to know the journeys of people who have made it big there. All the guests who were invited have shared their ideas and how they chose a particular approach to put their foot forward. Also one more interesting thing is, there are many people who wish to enter Gujarati show business, but they aren’t well versed with the English language. So this podcast is surely a customized medium to bridge the gap between their thoughts and reality. “
Doing all this single-handedly surely isn’t easy, so let us all support this idea and take it ahead to people who need this.
